The University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM) was established in September 2000 as a private university in Malaysia. Located in Semenyih, 30km south of Kuala Lumpur, it is the first British overseas campus in the world and is described by The Times Good University Guide 2015 as “the nearest Britain has to a truly global university, with campuses in China and Malaysia modelled on a headquarters that is among the most attractive in Britain”.
UNM is a leading university in social science, science and engineering research, offering programmes at the foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. All of its programmes are identical to those offered at The University of Nottingham in the UK, following the same quality assurance processes. Upon the completion of your degree, you will be awarded a University of Nottingham degree certificate.
