Multimedia University (MMU) was first established as a university in 1996. It is a private university with a mission to bring together talent for Inquiry, Inspiration and Innovation. It currently has two campuses — Cyberjaya and Melaka.
Multimedia University offers programmes at Foundation, Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. Some of the courses offered include Computing, Business and Engineering. They also provide specialised programmes in Software Engineering, Information Systems & Game Development.
MMU is rated ‘Berdaya Saing (Competitive)’ in the latest SETARA rating. It is also recognised as a Premier Digital Tech University by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) since 2019 and is ranked top #900 universities in the world based on the QS World University Rankings 2026.

Multimedia University Cyberjaya campus is situated at the Cyberjaya township, right in the heart of Malaysia’s Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC).
